Change Initiative: Comprehensive Digital Learning Program

Internal Stakeholders are considered to be the school leadership (Principal, Assistant-Principal) and they will be responsible for the overall vision, securing funding, and ensuring policy alignment. The teachers will be responsible for the implementation of digital tools in their curriculum, feedback on tools’ effectiveness, and professional development.  The students will be active participants by providing feedback, and adapting to new learning methods.  The IT Department will be responsible for ensuring technical infrastructures, supporting teachers and students in using digital tools.  The external stakeholders are the parents and the community.  They will provide feedback, support at home, and understanding the benefits of the program.  The Education Technology Firms will provide the digital tools, training for staff, and ongoing technical support. 

 Learning groups will be formed. Teacher training workshops will be formed.  This will be a focused group for teachers to learn and practice with new digital tools.  Student Tech Ambassadors could be formed which is a group of tech-savvy students trained to assist peers and teachers in using digital tools.  Parent information sessions will be formed to educate and engage parents in the digital learning process.

From the NSBA Framework, l chose Visionary Leadership, Teaching, Learning, and Assessments, and Professional Capacity.

· Visionary Leadership-The school leadership’s role in articulating a clear vision for the digital learning initiative is crucial. This vision will guide decision-making and provide a clear goal for all stakeholders.

· Teaching, Learning, and Assessments-Teachers are central in integrating digital tools into their teaching practices. Assessments also evolves include digital competencies.

· Professional Capacity-Building the professional capacity of teachers through training is key. It ensures that teachers were comfortable and capable of using digital tools effectively.
