Pneumonia and lymphoproliferation in humans

A respiratory infection, resulting in pneumonia and lymphoproliferation in humans, has become prevalent in the Western States of the United States. Initial studies suggest that the infection is likely caused by a previously unknown Coronavirus, which likely is endemic to wild rodents found in the desert, and which infects both respiratory epithelial cells and T lymphocytes. The National Institutes of Health is anxious to understand the characteristics and pathogenesis of this newly emerged pathogen. Your laboratory and collaborators decide to characterize the virus and determine what structural components may lead to the development of a new, specific vaccine. Based upon the techniques discussed in (1-Monoclonal and Polyclonal Antibodies, 2- Immunoprecipitation-based Techniques, 3- Solid-phase Antibody Assays, 4- Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting 5- Luminex Analysis, 6 Analysis of Cell Cycle and Cell Death), write a four-page (single-spaced, not including references) research proposal detailing how you would approach this problem. In your proposal, you should state the hypothesis and the testable predictions. Also, detail the following areas: Innovation, Plan of the Study, and Approach
