Electricity has revolutionised the march of modern events. The electric telegraph bears our messages to and brings wires from all the quarters of the globe. Submarine cable does its own work of good. Who is not familiar with the electric bell? Who has not used a telephone? Who is not enjoying the blessings of the electric light, electric motors and tram cars, wireless telegraphy, electric light, electric mode of construction and destruction all attest to the great power of electricity. Electricity has developed modern industry and has created many an industry. It has enabled man to conquer the earth, the sea and the air. It has endless future before it.
